What are the security risks associated with letting a neighbor use your wireless network?

I don't really want to do it, but my neighbor keeps bugging me saying that she will pay me $10 per month. To me this sounds like a bad idea but I need more info because she won't leave me alone until I have a valid reason for saying ''no''.

She wants the password, but us just to type it in for her. I know that it will be saved on her computer and not shared any further but...every time our connection goes down (which it does a lot) I don't want her coming over and asking about it or complaining. Also, will this slow down my connection? Are my files safe? I don't want to start a whole thing here, so I need your help with the negative aspects.

By the way, I have only met her once and my wife has never met her and the one meeting we had consisted of her asking to use our wireless network! I gave the excuse about our network not being reliable %26 now she is leaving notes on our doorstep. Help me out guys, I don't want to be rude-I just want the facts to back up my refusal. Thanks

If any of you download a worm or a virus then you can easily send it to each, without you knowing. Use a firewall such as Zonealarm to prevent this. She can also find a hole in your computer where she could potentially crack open your computer and steal your infomation.
