I have been trying to install the following item:

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.1 Service Pack 1 (KB928366) . But for some reason it won't install, any advise on how to install this is appreciated. Thank you.

check the compatibility from the readme of it.......or on site

eg :

it may require XP service pack 2 and you are having XP service pack 1...or

it may require Vista and you are having XP
